Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.

About the Job:
The EVS Tech performs cleaning tasks maintaining the sanitary and integrity of the patient rooms, patient service areas, PHO/hospital departments, and the general PHO campus environment.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Experience:
- Must be able to plan and organize a workload, and be alert to safety hazards.
Shift:
6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday Through Friday. Rotating weekend and Holiday shifts.
Salary: Starts at $15.49. Increases with experience.
Essential Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
- Able to be on feet continuously.
- Able to push housekeeping carts, move furniture and operate floor finisher. Handles heavy tasks and lift up to 20-30 lbs. continuously.
- Subjected to changing work priorities very frequently.
- Continuously carry/push/pull/lift objects weighing 10-20 pounds.
