Union Warehouse Production Loader - Night Shift

UNION WAREHOUSE PRODUCTION LOADER - NIGHT SHIFT JOB DESCRIPTION 

Job Summary:

This is a 4-day work week, union warehouse position with the best-in-class health benefits and is the starting point for a lucrative career in the beer industry.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for scanning, picking, packing, and wrapping products to pallets/carts for outbound shipments to the market.  Also, you will be utilizing an electric pallet jack to move the product throughout the warehouse. Starting Pay:  $17.95/hr with daily & weekly incentives available through the achievement of targets, resulting in a higher hourly rate.  

Schedule:  Monday - Thursday / 8:30pm - 6:30am 

May require mandatory OT at times - up to 4 hours

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pull orders as directed by pick system.
2. Scan, pick, pack and wrap product to a pallet or delivery cart.
3. Ensure that all products are handled and stacked safely and securely to prevent damage.
4. Ensure accuracy of product through systematic quality controls.
5. Stage pallet or cart in designated area for loading process.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
7. Communicate with warehouse staff and truck drivers to coordinate loading and unloading processes.
8. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
9. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
4. Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods of time.
5. Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Forklift certification a plus.
