- Post-Secondary Education- Electro-Mechanical Technician-Automation and Robotics Diploma or Equivalent.
- Provincial Certification Red Seal 309A or 442A would help
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge of technical controls and strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Excellent attendance and willingness to work flexible shifts and hours
- Ability to interact with Management Team in a professional manner to continually enhance the company's performance
- Ability to work independently without supervision and with minimum directions
- Professional and timely completion of projects consistently
- Timely and organized response to problems that impact production requirements
- Successful Completion of Martinrea International's Orientation Program
- Trouble shoot equipment consisting of torque controllers (ATLAS COPCO), robotics and programmable logic controllers
- Design electrical and electronic circuits
- Program PLC's, AC/DC drives and Servo Drives
- Modify robot, PLC programs and machine screen interfaces
- Equipment maintenance
- Knowledge of Siemens PLC, Sick Safety curtains
- Trouble shoot and repair equipment components
- Knowledge of Fanuc Robot and able to program and trouble shoot
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards and legislation: Environmental Legislation, O. Reg 851 for Industrial Establishments and Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Quantities measurable:
- Review and troubleshoot downtime issues.
- Work with Production, Quality to help reduce cycle times.
- 20% office,80% plant floor
- 20% if needed to other Martinrea Module Plants
- Multiple demands in a challenging and fast paced team orientated environment
- Constant communication with employees, peers, and management
- Overtime as required
- Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company Rules, Plant Rules, policies and procedures
- Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or certain clothing as required by the company
- Must report all accidents and near misses to your Supervisor
