NAS 410 Level II MT/PT Technician

Location: West Virginia

Project: Pratt & Whitney

Duration: 6–9 months

Schedule: 50–60 hours per week

Per Diem: $150/day

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced NAS 410 Level II MT/PT Technician for a long-term temporary project supporting Pratt & Whitney in West Virginia. The successful candidate will perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) in accordance with applicable procedures, specifications, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level II Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI/MT) and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI/PT).
• Interpret and evaluate inspection results in accordance with applicable specifications and procedures.
• Set up and operate NDT equipment.
• Identify, document, and report indications and inspection results accurately.
• Complete required inspection documentation and reports.
• Follow all applicable safety, quality, and customer requirements.
• Maintain NDT equipment and ensure proper calibration and operation.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• NAS 410 Level II certification in MT/PT required.
• Experience performing both MPI and FPI inspections.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, procedures, and inspection criteria.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work 50–60 hours per week.
• Must be willing to work a 6–9 month temporary project in West Virginia.
• Aerospace or Pratt & Whitney experience is preferred.
