Cleaning Technician

The Cleaning Technician will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining various types of tanks, including water tanks, fuel tanks, and chemical storage tanks. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, as well as the ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. The Technician will use specialized equipment and cleaning agents to ensure that tanks are free of contaminants and meet all regulatory standards. This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and follow strict safety protocols.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:

• Follow strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Must utilize appropriate personal protective equipment when performing job duties, as directed
• Must maintain all equipment in good working condition
• Clean and maintain various types of tanks, including water, fuel, and chemical storage tanks
• Use specialized equipment and cleaning agents to remove contaminants
• Work in confined spaces and at heights when required
• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to work offshore in harsh environments on a rotation or call-out basis
• Must possess a valid Identification or Driver’s license
• TWIC Card preferred
• Offshore certifications preferred
• Previous work experience is not required
