What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crew Member position at Mister Spots?
Purpose:
Mister Spots is looking for crew members to become a part of our team for all positions, including delivery drivers, cold table, and grill cooks.
The primary duty of the grill cook/cold table is to quickly, safely, and efficiently prepare food for the customers at their station. The grill cook will accurately and efficiently cook steak sandwiches, chicken wings, waffle fries, and other fryer items, while the cold table will complete hoagies, chef salads, and register duties. The grill cook/cold table assumes 100% responsibility for the quality and presentation of products served and the cleanliness of their workstation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food of consistent quality, following specific orders made by customers.
- Date all food containers and maintain perishables at proper temperatures.
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products.
- Operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer and flat top grill.
- Replace and clean food containers.
- Take customer orders over the phone as well as in the store.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Delivery drivers must have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and a good driving record. Delivery drivers receive $2 per delivery from the delivery fee and receive 100% of cash tips from their own deliveries.
Requirements:
- Availability to work during late-night hours until 2:30 AM on weekends and some holidays.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, management, and co-workers.
- Able to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
- Multi-task oriented – able to perform multiple job functions at one time.
- Punctual with regular and reliable attendance.
- Honesty and integrity.
- Must understand and always follow the food safety program guidelines, including personal hygiene, sanitation, and proper safe food handling procedures.
- Walk and stand throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to be exposed to and work with cleaning chemicals.
- Understand basic food measurements.
- Must report to work in uniform, including shirt and hat, in a presentable and hygienic appearance.
- Must wear slip-resistant and closed-toe shoes at all times.
Grill Cook/Cold Table Pay: $12 an hour tips
Delivery Driver Pay: $12 an hour delivery fees and tips
