OVERVIEW OF POSITION

As a Pizza Maker you represent Mister O1 and you must always comply with Mister O1 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This will guarantee consistency with our quality and plate presentation; while following proper cleanliness and hygiene procedures.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza.
- Inspect and clean, and maintain food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
- Preparing high-quality pizzas according to company recipes and monitoring the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times.
- Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, and other kitchen equipment, ensuring freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
- Handles, stores, and rotates all food products and supplies according to restaurant policies and procedures
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
- Knows and complies consistently with the restaurant’s standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- The employee is required to walk and/or stand 90% of the time. The employee must be able to talk, hear, and have the ability to use both hands, feel, taste and smell.
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to pass the Mister O1 training certification program satisfactorily.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
