Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all areas of the facility
- Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing to ensure a professional appearance
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and common areas following health standards
- Conduct detailed cleaning of windows, fixtures, furniture, and equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs when necessary
- Follow safety procedures and use proper cleaning chemicals and equipment responsibly
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or safety hazards promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning is a plus
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, floor buffers, and industrial cleaning equipment
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods and climbing ladders if needed
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Reliable with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
