As a Child Watch Caregiver, you will provide care for infants to 10 year olds in a drop-in childcare environment. This job is located at the Main YMCA at 1608 North Washington Street in Bismarck.

In this role, you can look forward to:
- Being a role model
- Assuring that children receive safe playtime, snacks, learning activities, diaper changing, and bathroom breaks
- Using appropriate disciplinary methods
- Observing children and communicating appropriately with parents
- Helping maintain a clean, safe environment by assuring that cleaning duties are completed
- Attending and be an active participant at staff meetings
- Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-12:30 pm
- Monday-Thursday, 4:00 pm-7:00 pm
- Saturday, 8:00 am-Noon
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who displays the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Previous experience working in a childcare setting preferred, but not required. Must have the ability to handle competing demands and effectively communicate with parents regarding the child's activities, behavior, eating, etc. CPR & First Aid Certification and Child Abuse prevention training courses must be completed within 90 days of hire and are provided by the YMCA. This job is open to candidates ages 14 and older.
Child Watch is a drop-in childcare program that provides members a safe, fun and supervised place for their children while they utilize the facility.
