The successful applicant will teach one section of English 1120, a 3 credit hour course.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold a master's degree or higher in English, creative writing, rhetoric and composition, technical communication or a closely related discipline by the position's start date. Applicants must demonstrate academic preparation in writing instruction and the ability to teach first-year composition.
Prefered Qualifications: Experience teaching writing, composition, adult learners or English-language learns is preferred along with demonstrated effectiveness in the classroom.

COLLEGE of ENGINEERING & COMPUTING (CEC)
Missouri S&T’s College of Engineering and Computing is the largest of three colleges at S&T, accounting for approximately 80% of the total enrollment (about 4,500 undergraduates and 800 graduate students).
