MSSU is currently seeking candidates for full-time faculty appointments in the Nursing Department starting January 2026 in Joplin, Missouri. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach both didactic and clinical nursing courses. Clinical expertise is sought in the areas of adult health and pediatrics. This is an on-site position.
The position requires a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and advising at the undergraduate level. A terminal degree in nursing is preferred; however, candidates with a graduate degree in nursing or those within 1 year of obtaining a graduate degree, with completion of the Missouri Hospital Association Clinical Academy, will also be considered.
