MSSU is currently seeking candidates for full-time faculty appointments in the Nursing Department, starting in August 2026, in Joplin, Missouri. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach both didactic and clinical nursing courses. Clinical expertise is sought in adult health and pediatrics. This is an on-site position.
This position is a non-tenure track, Master Instructor position.
The position requires demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and undergraduate advising. A terminal degree in nursing is preferred; however, candidates with a graduate degree in nursing or those within 1 year of earning a graduate degree who have completed the Missouri Hospital Association Clinical Academy will also be considered.
