Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing exceptional support to various departments. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective time management, and the ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external stakeholders. PT We are looking to add a part time person to our team!! These would be flexible daytime hours (our regular hours are M-F 8/5) Attention to detail and computer skills are a MUST. Duties would include: reception, answering phones, filing, documentation of files, customer service, taking payments, a little of everything. FT position would received benefits PT does not qualify We are a full service insurance agency (Home Auto Life Health Medicare) Would be working with both health and medicare clients as well as an occasional Home and Auto Client

Duties

  • Manage and maintain executive calendars, scheduling appointments and meetings efficiently.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and document preparation to support daily operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting clients with their needs.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity, ensuring all communications are professional.
  • Assist in office management tasks, including inventory management of supplies and equipment.
  • Support customer support initiatives by addressing client concerns and facilitating resolutions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while managing records and files.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Proficient in office software applications, including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
