Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, passionate and dynamic Piano and/or Voice Instructor to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. Responsibilities
- Teach customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s skill level, goals, and learning style
- Teach piano and/or voice techniques, including sight-reading, ear training, vocal exercises, and performance skills
- Manage one on one classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a positive and focused learning environment
- Track student progress through challenges and assessments and provide constructive feedback to motivate improvement
- Incorporate curriculum development strategies to enhance lesson quality and student engagement
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, or performances by guiding practice routines and stage presence
- Foster a nurturing atmosphere that encourages creativity, discipline, and confidence in students of all ages
- Provide weekly assignments for students and parents or guardians to review in order to communicate student expectations, progress and address individual needs
Qualifications
- Proven experience teaching piano and/or voice lessons across diverse age groups and skill levels
- Strong knowledge of music theory, sight-reading or vocal techniques, and performance practices
- Ability to explain engaging curricula that cater to different learning styles and goals
- Private one on one and small group classroom management skills to maintain an organized and respectful learning environment
- Experience working with children, early childhood education background preferred
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment methods
- Additional skills such as piano playing by note, by chord chart and by ear, keyboard playing, singing, worship leading or vocal performance and music theater experience are a plus; they reflect a versatile approach to arts education
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate students and collaborate with colleagues

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
