Schedule: Flexible as needed, Monday-Friday with occasional evenings

Salary Range: $18.00 per hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Part-Time Driver. The ideal candidate must be available as needed for scheduled routes. The candidate will maintain a professional demeanor and safely transport clients, supplies, or staff as directed. This position requires a flexible schedule and a strong commitment to punctuality, customer service, and confidentiality. All routes will begin in Sikeston and serve the following counties: Flexible Schedule may be ideal for someone who is semi-retired. Service Region: Dunklin, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot and Scott counties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport pregnant women, new mothers, and infants to scheduled appointments and medical services.
• Deliver incentives to program participants
• Transport program participants to program-related events
• Provide courteous, respectful assistance while boarding and exiting the vehicle
• Ensure the use of car seats and seat belts in compliance with child safety laws
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicles
• Communicate clearly and promptly with the scheduling coordinator regarding trip assignments
• Maintain accurate logs of mileage, routes, trip times, and passenger information
• Follow confidentiality protocols and HIPAA regulations when handling client information, and ensure a respectful, safe transport environment
• Exhibit empathy, patience, and professionalism at all times

Requirements:

· Valid State Driver’s License with a clean driving record

· A Class E Chauffeur’s Driver’s License is required

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 2-3 years of driving experience (professional driving preferred)
• Ability to pass background check, drug, and alcohol screening
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Must be dependable, flexible, and responsive to scheduling
• Ability to sit for long periods and lift to 35 lbs., and assist passengers if needed
• GPS navigation proficiency and basic record-keeping skills
• CPR/First Aid Certification will be required during the probationary period
• Provide Liability insurance coverage

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in a similar driving role (transportation, delivery, rideshare, etc.)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (if transporting clients/patients)
• Familiarity with the service region area

Education

· High School Diploma or GED

· Proven experience in a similar role may substitute for education
