Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a variety of group fitness classes, which may include cardio, strength training, flexibility, or other modalities.
• Develop engaging and effective workout routines appropriate for different fitness levels.
• Demonstrate and instruct proper exercise techniques to minimize injury risk and maximize results.
• Modify exercises to accommodate participants with varying fitness levels, injuries, or health concerns.
• Provide guidance and motivation to help individuals achieve their fitness goals.
• Ensure participant safety by monitoring technique and equipment usage.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive class environment.
• Prepare equipment and music for classes.
• Stay up-to-date on current fitness trends and techniques through continuing education.
• Assist in keeping the group fitness room and equipment clean and organized.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification (e.g., AFAA, ACE, NASM preferred).
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Ability to provide a high-energy and motivating class environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
