Job Overview
As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our products and services. You will help lead a dynamic team of QA professionals, driving the implementation of testing strategies and methodologies that enhance our Quality Management Systems. Your expertise will be crucial as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences across various platforms.
What you’ll do
Assist the QA Director in a variety of tasks to include:
- A variety of leadership tasks to help maintain and improve overall Quality
- Administering and leading MAL’s eQMS team to maintain quality management, track QMS KPIs, etc.
- Utilize data analysis skills to generate insightful reports on KPI performance
- Interact with others in QA & QC, as well as with Office staff and with upper management
- Mentor team members in best practices
- Review laboratory data including chromotography data, notebooks, etc. for accuracy and completeness. You will be expected to review a certain number of data packets each month
- Communicate need for corrections to chemists and microbiologists
- Oversee OOS, Deviations, CAPAs, etc.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify defects and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process
- Final Review of data packets before they are released
- Upload data to customer portals
- Assist as needed with preparing data for routine customer meetings
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day quality functions for our manufacturing business
- Filling in for the QA Director when Director is out of office
- Work in conjunction with upper management to develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies that align with project goals and timelines.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in quality assurance leadership with a strong background in maximizing efficiencies.
- Proficiency in continuous improvement
- Familiarity with eQMS software
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Waters Empower software applications and others that utilize databases like Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of a variety of eQMS software applications
- Strong understanding of service-oriented principles
