The Clerk & Recorder's Office is seeking a Spatial & Taxation Analyst to join their team. This position performs professional work to plan and implement a comprehensive program to manage the creation and maintenance of special improvement districts. Provides expertise and leadership in the development, maintenance and utilization of geographic information systems primarily for the Clerk & Treasurer. Performs technical work: in the collection of data; in the development of complex databases; in the analysis of data; and in the graphic representation of data. Performs professional level duties in coordinating and administering projects related to real property for the Clerk & Treasurer. The position also supports other departments throughout Missoula County.

- Requires a bachelor’s degree. Degrees best suited for this position are planning, public or business administration, accounting, finance, and GIS. A GIS Certificate, or the ability to obtain one within one year of hire, is required.
- Requires two years of GIS experience in researching, analyzing and creating graphic representations of geospatial data. Experience must include working with Geographic Information Systems and creating maps. Experience with real property transactions and taxation desired. Government accounting experience desired.

Salary : $33 - $37
