Job Description
The Admissions Counselor/Recruiter reports to the Director of Admissions and is responsible for participating in activities and tasks that result in moving students through the enrollment funnel. The enrollment funnel includes the following critical processes: Prospect Generation, Inquiry Management, Application Development, and Admission to Enrollment. The Admissions Counselor/Recuriter is responsible for a full range of recruitment/travel territory management activities in support of departmental goals. The focus of this position is the recruitment, engagement, nurturing, and development of prospective students to assist with meeting or exceeding enrollment goals established by the administration.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree plus one year of professional experience in a related field or two years of professional experience or an equivalent combination of post-secondary training, education and/or professional experience. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in oral, written, and interpersonal settings. Demonstrated ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Proven ability to prepare and deliver effective public presentations. Possession of a valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Customer Relationship Management ( CRM ) tool, preferably Slate. Experience with Banner. Knowledge and understanding of higher education systems Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
