Mississippi University for Women is a teaching university with a mission to provide high quality undergraduate and graduate education for all students. We are an equal opportunity employer. We were founded in 1884 as the nation’s first public women’s college and have been co-ed since 1982.

Since EN 101 fulfills The W’s Enlight Core Curriculum requirement for Written and Oral Communication, a broad cross-section of students from all academic disciplines on our campus will take these classes. Experience with and enthusiasm for mentoring such students will be highly valued.

Adjunct Instructors may teach up to two three-hour classes or the equivalent per semester.

Prior to hiring, the final candidate(s) must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation. A prior conviction reported as a result of the background investigation DOES NOT automatically disqualify a candidate from consideration for this position.
