Job Description – Warehouse Associate

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Horn lakes, MS
Status: Full-time

Overview

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shipping, picking, and receiving goods, ensuring accurate inventory levels, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. This person must be committed to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Shipping & Receiving
• Prepare and ship customer orders accurately and on time.
• Receive incoming products, verify quantities, and inspect for damage.
• Complete all related paperwork and system entries.
• Picking & Inventory
• Pick orders efficiently and accurately according to pick lists.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and proper stock rotation.
• Report discrepancies or inventory issues promptly.
• Warehouse Maintenance
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Process Improvement
• Participate in identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes.
• Support implementation of new procedures and best practices.
• Equipment Operation
• Safely operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Maintain valid forklift certification.

Requirements

• Valid forklift license (mandatory).
• Experience in shipping, receiving, order picking, or general warehouse operations (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
