Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center of Oxford is searching for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse who can handle working in a fast-paced clinic environment with a positive attitude and a strong desire for efficiency. This position will provide high-quality care to patients seen within the clinic, under the direct supervision of a physician and/or nurse practitioner. Minimum two years orthopedic experience strongly preferred.
· Prepares medicines according to physician request
· Maintains competency in specific area of practice
· Performs dressing changes and staple/suture removal
· Records appropriate clinical notes and maintains patients’ records
· Schedule and pre-certify patient surgeries and procedures
· Effectively communicate with patients
· Other nursing duties as required
