We’re looking for a relationship-driven, mission-minded Account Executive to help grow community support for our public media organization. What You’ll Do
- Build and manage a portfolio of advertising partners across MPB platforms, including radio, television broadcast, web, digital, podcasts, and events
- Identify new prospects through research, outreach, and community engagement
- Create tailored proposals that align partner/advertiser goals with MPB-specific platforms and audiences
- Manage the full advertising cycle: outreach, negotiation, scheduling, and renewals
- Collaborate with radio and television scheduling and production teams to ensure accurate, timely placement of messages, as well as proper execution of contracts
- Guide clients in crafting FCC-compliant, mission-appropriate advertising messaging
- Represent the station at community events and networking opportunities
What You Bring
- Experience in sales, account management, fundraising, or business development
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy and attention to detail
- Comfort working toward revenue goals in a collaborative, mission-driven environment
Bonus points for:
- Familiarity with public media or nonprofit organizations
- Understanding of FCC advertising/underwriting guidelines (training available)
- Experience with CRM systems
