Packager

Job Description:

This position will consist of Packaging products for Waabigwan Mashkiki. Members of this team will be working between our Mahnomen locations. Packagers will either be working on pre-rolls or whole flower products however as the need arises will assist our lab and kitchen teams with the packaging of concentrated cannabis oils and/ or edibles. They will report and operate out of our cultivation facility and report to the Packaging Manager and/or supervisor & manager to be delegated the task on a daily basis. Staff members must be able to lift up to 30 lb and be on your feet for extended periods of time.

Requirements and Duties

• Must get ServSafe certified
• Must be able to work in a setting with constant, strong smells of different flavors, cannabis strains, oils, etc..
• Attention to detail for accurate counting and efficient label verification.
• Ability to shift priorities and tasks quickly
• Maintains a clean and organized work site performing daily cleaning activities of assigned work area including daily cleaning and sterilization procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

Certificates/Licenses/Registrations/Requirements

• Must get ServSafe certified (the company will provide this training)
• Must be twenty-one (21) years or older.
• Able to pass background check and drug screening.
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Must fully meet the licensing requirements of the White Earth Medical Cannabis Control Board and be licensed to dispense medical cannabis according to the rules and regulations promulgated by the White Earth Medical Cannabis Control Board, in accordance with the White Earth Medicinal Cannabis Code.

• A Drug Free Workplace – Tests for alcohol and illegal drug use may be required prior to and during employment. Background Checks performed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.50 per hour
