What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Mississippi Methodist Senior Services, Inc?
The Housekeeper is responsible for the daily cleaning of the facility, resident apartments and other duties, following prescribed procedures as assigned.
- Routine cleaning of campus's common areas and offices
- Dusting, vacuuming, and disposal of trash
- Sanitizing bathrooms and dining areas
- Managing supplies and cleaning products
- Assure maintenance issues are promptly reported and infection control procedures are strictly followed.
Preferred Qualifications
High School diploma or GED preferred
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 10th grade education or comparable work experience and work related education. Must meet minimum age requirements of the State of Mississippi; must be able to read, write and understand verbal and written instructions; must be able to perform skills as learned through continuous on-the-job training.
