Position Summary:

Buyers make sure customers have a great experience by keeping products available, offering timely, friendly, and caring service. Buyers work closely with the Purchasing and department teams to ensure offerings are well-stocked, visually appealing, and follow food and safety rules. They also may help out in other parts of the store.

Duties include helping customers, ordering products, restocking shelves, receiving deliveries, processing invoices, making products and displays presentable, ensuring correct labels and signs, maintaining health and safety standards, and supporting other parts of the store.

Location: 740 East 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday: 6am - 2pm with a 5am - 1pm shift every other Wednesday for sales change.

Qualifications:

Physical and Working Requirements:

The position involves frequent stationary tasks, along with regular movement within the grocery and storage areas. Frequent positioning is required to access both low and high shelving, equipment, and products. The job also entails the frequent movement of containers weighing up to 60 lbs. Buyers frequently handle packaged grocery items and may frequently ascend/descend a ladder to reach high shelving. Buyers will utilize various equipment including but not limited to pallet jacks, lifts, a baler, computers, and printers. This role requires exchanging accurate information in person, over the phone, and through email and other written communication. Additionally, Buyers will frequently work in a walk-in cooler and freezer and be exposed to sanitizer, cleaning products, and loud noises. This position requires an individual to be at least 18 years old.
