Duties may include:
(Depending on the position)
- Reviewing and monitoring affordable housing and grant-funded programs for compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conducting file reviews, onsite inspections, and compliance monitoring.
- Collecting, analyzing, and maintaining program data and documentation.
- Preparing reports, correspondence, and compliance records.
- Providing technical assistance and guidance to program participants, property owners, developers, and community partners.
- Supporting housing initiatives that improve the lives of Mississippians.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
- Ability to interpret and apply federal regulations and guidelines
- Knowledge of affordable housing and community development programs
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects
- Experience working with diverse populations and external stakeholders
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel and conduct site inspections
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to occasionally work outside normal business hours
A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements.
