Job Duties
M(1) Associates Degree (or higher) from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning and three years of support experience with customer service related functions.
M(2) Proficiency with computers and office software.
M(3) Excellent communication and organization skills.
M(4) Excellent attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications
D(1) Bachelor's Degree.
D(2) Experience using Banner software.
D(3) Experience with a learning management system such as Canvas.
D(4) Experience with performing annual inventory.
D(5) Experience working with students in a community college setting.
D(6) Experience in a help desk setting.

Job Description: The Learning Resources Support Representative is responsible for administrative and coordinating duties relative to the purpose of the library, the learning lab, and the evening office. The Learning Resources Support Representative reports to the Assistant Dean of Learning Resources.
Job Duties
- Manages the Learning Lab help desk, ensuring adequate staffing and that proper procedures are followed.
- Assists with maintaining the center's laptops for the checkout process.
- Assists students with the setup of Learning Lab laptops for online proctored exams.
- Compiles statistical reports, including tables, charts, and text, using spreadsheet software.
- Creates flyers and promotional materials for the Learning Lab to promote upcoming workshops, tutoring, semester schedules, and other Learning Lab events on campus, in Canvas, and on social media.
- Monitors, reports, and responds appropriately to Learning Lab needs.
- Prepares contracts and load sheets for LRC adjuncts and teaching adjuncts.
- Assists with employee development approval and room reservation workflow.
- Assists with physical Learning Lab setup for orientations, workshops, and other events.
- Assists with creating schedules for the Library and the Learning Lab, and helps monitor the teaching schedule and academic calendar.
- Is proficient with technology and able to assist students with basic technology needs.
- Monitors the Learning Lab Canvas shell for student help requests and ensures that hours and other information remain updated.
- Performs equipment inventory for the Library and Learning Lab and prepares documentation for salvage.
- Troubleshoots copier problems, reporting issues to the Business Office and the Assistant Dean of Learning Resources.
- Establishes priorities, works independently, and proceeds with objectives with minimal supervision.
- Uses good customer service skills with students and LRC visitors, assisting them as needed.
- Upgrades skill level through appropriate employee development, resulting in 15 hours of EDP credits per year, as required by the college.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Assistant Dean of Learning Resources.
