The Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for the overall maintenance, repair, and safe operation of all buildings, systems, and grounds within the treatment facility. This hands-on position ensures a clean, functional, and compliant environment that supports the comfort, safety, and recovery of clients and staff.
The ideal candidate is a skilled “jack-of-all-trades” who can independently troubleshoot and repair a wide range of building systems — including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general facility upkeep. This role requires reliability, discretion, and a strong sense of responsibility, as it directly supports a healthcare environment that demands safety, confidentiality, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Conduct general repairs on building structures, fixtures, doors, furniture, and appliances.
- Ensure the facility and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all building systems and equipment.
- Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when specialized repairs or inspections are required.
- Monitor inventory and order maintenance supplies and parts as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies during and occasionally outside normal working hours.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with fire codes, health department, and licensing regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify and prioritize facility improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a maintenance trade preferred.
- 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience (facility, building, or institutional environment preferred).
- Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and basic construction repair.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed.
- Ability to climb ladders, stand, bend, and work in confined spaces.
- May be required to respond to maintenance emergencies after hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
