The shipping checker is responsible for directing, delegating and ensuring that all employees on the assigned loading crew perform their duties.
Job Duties And Responsibilies
- Must learn to read load schedule.
- Direct crew in order of finished goods to be loaded.
- Read and scan product label/tickets as brought to dock for loading.
- Coordinate loading and stacking of finished goods on trailer.
- Adjust seat count on all trailers.
- Seal trailers when load is complete.
- Keep rick sheets.
- Maintain clean and organized work area.
- Assist others when necessary.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
