High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in business, planning, transportation or a related field is preferred.

Proven background in management and/or the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage day-to-day transportation routes and schedules to ensure timely service.
- Perform repair assessments on vehicles, monitor daily inspections, and conduct road service calls as needed.
- Supervise staff with a collaborative approach, fostering a cooperative environment across diverse teams.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion in high-pressure situations to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Manages and oversees operator scheduling and dispatching, timekeeping, and Transit related software.
- Assists in preparation and presentation of staff and agenda reports and other necessary correspondence related to assigned activities and services, as assigned; may present reports to various commissions, committees, and boards.
