Fabrication Manager

Seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Fabrication Manager.

## **Responsibilities**

• Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required
• Prioritize workflow through the shop and use all resources to implement tasks efficiently and effectively to meet delivery deadlines
• Identify all tools required for tasks
• Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks
• Responsible for performance metrics, process improvement, and lean thinking
• Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications
• Install valves, hangers, supports, flanges inside piping system according to plans, and applicable specifications
• Perform test to ensure the quality of the pipe and the piping systems
• Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment
  
  

## **Qualifications**

• 3 years of direct
  
  

supervisory/management experience as a job site foreman, fab shop supervisor, or project manager

• 10 years minimum experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry
• Ability to read prints and illustrate detailed knowledge of pipe fitting procedures and skills
• Previous experience in the mechanical contracting or process piping industry with pipe fitting processes preferred
• Welding experience is a plus but not required
• Must have good problem-solving abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with individual contributors, teams, peers, and leadership

Pay Range

$3,712.50 - $8,167.50

*Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles* OR *Hourly for all other roles.*

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
