- Greet donors; deliver courteous and respectful service
- Assist with receiving and recording donations
- Safeguard donations until collected
- Maintain a clean and organized donation site
- Confirm that trailer has appropriate supplies
- Place any flags, banners, balloons or signage in visible, attractive manner
- Become knowledgeable of charity's purpose
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Planning and organizational skills
- Ability to stand 6-8 hours per day, bending frequently
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds regularly
- Good communication skills, oral and written
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Able to establish relationships with peers, internal and external customers
- High school diploma or equivalent; or a combination of education and experience that yields the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- High level of diplomacy and interpersonal skills.
