- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
- Help patients with daily tasks such as serving meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, and positioning.
- Ensure patients receive fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Adjunct Care Provision:
- Administer enemas, douches, and non-sterile dressings as needed.
- Prepare surgical preps, apply ice packs, and provide heat treatments.
- Assist with sitz baths and therapeutic baths.
- Apply restraints when necessary.
- Monitoring Patient Stability:
- Regularly check vital signs (such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature) to maintain patient stability.
- Monitor weight changes.
- Test urine samples and record intake and output information.
- Patient Comfort and Communication:
- Utilize available resources and materials to enhance patient comfort.
- Transport patients as required.
- Respond promptly to patients' call lights and requests.
- Report any observations or concerns about patients to the nursing supervisor.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Complete necessary forms, reports, logs, and records accurately.
- Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Confidentiality and Professionalism:
