Duties and Responsibilities: First level accounting supervisor that participates in and oversees the work of vocational level accounting staff. At this level, employees also manage processes or programs within a small agency (e.g. Payroll), including the development, evaluation, and revision of accounting policies and procedures to meet required rules. Employee supervision includes hire recommendations; training; work planning, assignments, and review; and performance assessment, coaching, and progressive discipline. Supervision at this level also requires these employees to have the knowledge and skills to perform and review the work overseen.
Education and Experience: Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 5-6 years of experience.
