Respiratory Therapist (PRN) - Hospital
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PRN (as needed) Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers flexibility to support our hospital's respiratory care services, ensuring patients receive high-quality treatment and support during their recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory conditions in a hospital setting
- Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and mechanical ventilation
- Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care activities accurately and in compliance with hospital policies
- Respond promptly to emergency situations requiring respiratory intervention
- Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment to ensure safety and effectiveness

Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Valid state licensure or registration as required
- Proven experience in a hospital or acute care environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to work PRN shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
