We’re seeking the right candidate for the position of Maintenance Director at Lakeland Community Care Center. In this vital role, you’ll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.
What You Bring to the Table:
Essential Qualifications:
- Perform general building maintenance tasks; receive work orders and perform tasks required to complete duties assigned.
- Monitor and record water temperatures throughout the facility, such as residents’ use areas, laundry and dietary areas.
- Monitor and maintain HVAC system, electrical systems, and emergency generator systems.
- Oversee work and lead other maintenance staff at the facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate:
- High school diploma or equivalent and 2-5 years building maintenance experience.
- Prior work experience in a healthcare facility (nursing home or hospital) is preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience and/or leadership skills.
- Knowledge of general building maintenance practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of safety requirements and regulations.
- Ability to repair minor mechanical equipment.
Other Qualifications
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stretch and reach for extended periods of time.
