Job Summary
First-level professional Human Resources position accountable for duties that are professional in nature and employees act as an adviser in the Agencies in one or more areas of human resources. Under direct supervision, positions are accountable for duties in agency human resources programs, policies, and procedures related to recruitment and selection, classification, salary analysis, benefits, appointments, and performance evaluation, and ensures work done is in compliance with relevant federal and state laws. Position may also be responsible for preparing reports at an agency or state wide level that can be used by managers and Statewide HR for the purposes of managing human resources costs.
Requirements
- Accountable for duties in agency human resources programs.
- Knowledgeable of policies and procedures related to recruitment and selection.
- Responsible for the application process with prospective employees.
- Ensures work done is in compliance with relevant federal and state laws.
- Responsible for filing, answering the phone, and providing excellent customer service to applicants.
- Entering data into computer systems, providing assistance to current and prospective employees.
- Must have excellent organizational skills
Special Qualifications
- Experience in Onboarding
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Experience in constructing recruitment pieces
