Required Skills:
- 8 years of experience in software development or test automation, with proven leadership in a technical role for at least 3 years
- Expertise in designing and developing custom automation frameworks using Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript
- Extensive experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, PyTest, REST Assured, or Postman
- Deep understanding of microservices, APIs, message queues, and event-driven architectures
- Advanced knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, S3, API Gateway, EC2, RDS, Step Functions) and cloud-native automation
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline) and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and container orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- AWS certifications or other relevant certifications such as CSTA
- Experience with performance, load, and security testing strategies
- Knowledge of automation within distributed systems and data pipelines
- Experience mentoring and coaching automation teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred
- Prior experience leading automation efforts in large-scale enterprise environments
- Applicants must have U.S. permanent work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, DevOps, and product teams
- Willingness to lead innovation in test automation strategies and quality standards
