Information System Security Officer (ISSO) III
We are seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) III to support cybersecurity and information assurance operations for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). Responsibilities
Coordinate and implement cybersecurity and information assurance requirements across assigned networks and systems.- Conduct vulnerability and threat analyses to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks.
- Support cyber incident response efforts, including isolating affected assets, performing investigations, collecting data, and reporting findings.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense cybersecurity standards and NSWCPD policies.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, reporting, and recommendations to strengthen the security posture of supported systems.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure security policies and best practices are consistently applied and maintained.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications Systems Management, or a related STEM field from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in cybersecurity operations, policy enforcement, vulnerability analysis, and incident response.
- IAM-II level certification.
- One or more of the following certifications: CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO, or HCISPP.
Active Secret Clearance.
