Computer Systems Analyst
Location: Harrisburg-Carlisle, PA, or Urban Honolulu, HI, United States
Position: Computer Systems Analyst (Mid-Level)
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level Computer Systems Analyst to support IT initiatives for federal government contracts. This full-time, hybrid position offers the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical system implementations for the Department of Defense, focusing on requirements analysis, technical documentation, and system testing. Responsibilities
Develop system requirements by gathering and analyzing user and stakeholder input to ensure alignment with mission objectives.
- Analyze business requirements and evaluate technical alternatives to recommend efficient solutions.
- Create technical documentation, including system designs, user manuals, and process flows.
- Test development and production software to verify functionality, security, and compliance with federal standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Support implementation of computer systems, including integration and deployment, to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize system performance.
Participate in agile processes, providing status updates, risk assessments, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in IT roles, with expertise in:
- Developing system requirements based on user input.
- Analyzing business requirements and technical alternatives.
- Creating technical documentation and testing software for functionality.
- Implementing computer systems to meet customer needs.
- Active Secret clearance (IT-II level) required and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (CWF) certification required: IAT II (e.g., CompTIA Security , CCNA Security, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with system design and integration.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a secure, high-stakes environment.
