The award-winning Mission Yogurt, Inc. restaurant at Denver International Airport, Root Down, is hiring Line Cooks. Are you up for working at a VERY busy restaurant with annual sales up to $10 million per year, and wanting to showcase your talent?
An outpost of Chef Justin Cucci’s popular Denver eatery, Root Down DIA consistently and passionately serves every guest organic, farm-to-table and globally inspired cuisine. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner entrée items, including select raw foods, sandwiches, appetizers, soups, salads, and desserts, as well as a wide selection of cocktails, wine, beer, sake, and spirits. What We Are Looking For:
- Candidates who possess at least one year of restaurant cooking experience.
- Delivery of superior food and beverage service and maximizes customer satisfaction.

- Adheres to Mission Yogurt's safety, sanitation, and cleanliness policies and practices.
- Ensures all operating and quality standards are met.
- Upholds a professional and ethical management style and presentation.
- Assesses work-related issues in a professional manner and exercises honest, non-bias judgment.
- Previous experience as a line cook, BOH prep, grill cook, and team member
- Ensures safety and security of both guests and team members.
- Must be able to pass a 10-year background check per TSA guidelines.
Job-Specific Duties: Line Cook
- Prepare food according to Mission’s set standards;
- Aid fellow kitchen staff in the preparation of food items;
- Set up allocated stations as instructed by the BOH Leadership
- Embody and promote consistency and efficiency in food preparation, food handling, sanitization, and safety standards;
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers!
Physical Demands:
Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.
