Barista Caribou Coffee | Denver Airport

Mission Yogurt is hiring Baristas to join our team at Caribou Coffee, located inside the Denver Airport.  We are looking for Baristas who have open availability and can start as early as 4:00 am and stay until as late as 9:30 pm.  At our Caribou Coffee location at Denver International Airport, we’re passionate about serving quality coffee and creating welcoming moments for every guest. We’re looking for team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, value teamwork, and take pride in delivering friendly, reliable service—one cup at a time.

The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, and other drinks while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail, consistency in drink preparation, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Baristas are also responsible for warming and preparing basic food items in accordance with company standards, ensuring quality, accuracy, and food safety at all times.

Pay: $18.00/hr. TIPS!

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensures the safety and security of both guests and team members.

• Craft high-quality beverages while providing friendly, efficient service.

• Accurately handle cash transactions and process payments using the POS system, making sure the drawer remains balanced throughout the shift.

• Assesses work-related issues in a professional manner and exercises honest, non-biased judgment.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

• Address customer concerns and escalate to management if necessary.

• Assist with other front-of-house tasks as needed, including taking orders, answering customer questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Clean and sanitize the cashier area regularly, especially during peak times and after customer transactions, and assist with other small tasks as needed.

• Restock supplies and ensure inventory is well-maintained.

• Adheres to Mission Yogurt's safety, sanitation, and cleanliness policies and practices.

• Availability and willingness to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. 

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S. 

• Prior experience working as a barista. 

• Previous experience as a cashier, team member, or in a customer service role. 

• Strong customer service skills and a passion for the hospitality industry. 

• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. 

• Must have basic food preparation skills or a willingness to learn. 

Physical Demands: 

Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching overhead, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.
