As a Barron’s Top 100 RIA firm and voted Best Places to Work by Fortune, Pacific Coast Business Times, Inc. (Best Workplaces), and Investment News, Mission Wealth is hiring a growth-minded Lead Advisor with a CFP or CFA designation to join our award-winning team!  If you’re ready to elevate your career with a leading wealth management company with a commitment to giving back, let’s go!  Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong background in business development and client advisory services.  You define ambition, a sense of adventure, and a passion for purpose, both in life and in your approach to helping clients navigate their financial decisions.  If you can articulate your past success in a demanding lead advisory role, steering client relationships and business development that drive results, we want to hear from you!

A Lead Advisor is primarily responsible for driving new business while maintaining a high standard of client service and team leadership. The majority of time is dedicated to business development, in addition to managing a book of clients as a Wealth Advisor and overseeing the Diamond Team, typically composed of three other team members. Interacting with high-net-worth individuals, executives, business owners, and families, you’re confident being yourself and possess a high emotional IQ.  You’re articulate, polished, and have an aptitude for financial vernacular.  Extremely analytical and a great listener, you will master data gathering, drafting goals, and creating financial plans that speak to the clients in “their” language.   Your commitment to making a positive impact in other people’s lives parallels your drive for personal and professional growth.

Mission Wealth has offered 360-degree wealth management services to affluent families since 2000.  Our dynamic planning process ensures that every piece of the puzzle is put into place as our clients’ lives unfold and their needs evolve.  This gives them the complete picture and confidence in their financial future.

What You Brind as a Lead Advisor:

Experience & Expertise

  • 5-10 years of experience in financial advisory services, including client relationship management, business development, and wealth planning.

  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, MoneyGuide, eMoney, Tamarac AdvisorView, Holistiplan, and Hidden Levers.
  • Proven ability to mentor, manage, and coach team members while driving revenue growth through custodial referral platforms, community involvement, asset gathering and COI & client referrals.

 Leadership & Client-Centric Skills

  • The confidence, poise, and gravitas required to be a trusted advisor to affluent families.
  • Ability to strategically align financial plans with a client’s overall vision and coordinate with external advisors.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) and exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and presentation).
  • Strong leadership skills, fostering team performance, professional development, and collaboration.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude and strong work ethic.

Certifications & Attributes:

  • CFP® required; additional certifications (CFA, CPA, CAIA, CIMA) strongly preferred.
