Description & Requirements
Company Overview
When you join MetroVet, you become part of a close-knit, supportive team in the heart of Jamaica Plain. Opened in 2022, our modern clinic was designed to provide an upscale, welcoming environment where we prioritize fear-free medicine and compassionate care.
We understand that cats need a little extra TLC, which is why we offer a dedicated feline exam room equipped with pheromone diffusers. For our more anxious feline patients, we also utilize pre-visit medication when appropriate to help create a calmer, less stressful experience for both pets and their owners.
At MetroVet, we believe taking care of our team is just as important as taking care of our patients. We value work-life balance and recognize the importance of mental well-being. Our team fosters a lighthearted, positive atmosphere where laughter is always welcome, even on challenging days. When cases get tough, we rally around one another, offering encouragement, teamwork, and support when it matters most.
Every team member plays an essential role in our success, whether greeting clients at the front desk, comforting a recovering patient, or contributing to a complex medical case. We see the value in every position and are committed to helping our team members grow. Through mentorship, continuing education, and hands-on training, we provide opportunities for everyone—from our front desk super stars to our medical professionals—to build their skills, expand their knowledge, and advance their careers.
A great workplace extends beyond the clinic walls. Located in vibrant Jamaica Plain, MetroVet is just steps from the scenic Arnold Arboretum, offering a beautiful spot to enjoy a walk and recharge during the day. With neighborhood green spaces, local charm, and easy access to everything the greater Boston area has to offer, our location provides a wonderful balance of professional fulfillment and personal enjoyment.
At MetroVet, you'll find more than a place to work. You'll find a team that supports you, values your contributions, and believes that caring for pets starts with caring for each other.
