Job Summary
Under minimal supervision prepares food for various areas of the department. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION: None
PREFERRED EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant or healthcare environment
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: NA
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: ANSI Accredited Texas Food Handler or ANSI Accredited Food Manager course or Certified Food Manager from the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District
