In this role you will manage the procurement and distribution of materials, including obtaining vendor quotes, processing requisitions, and verifying the accuracy of received goods for use on CVNs. This is a full-time position, located in San Diego, CA.

Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline. Office work environment normally encountered.

What You Will Do
- Responsibilities include, but not limitied to:
- Obtaining vendor quotes.
- Processing requisitions in the Supply Logistics Information Management Program (SLIMP).
- Processing requisitions in CostPoint.
- Ensuring material received by government is the correct material.
- Issuing material for use on CVNs.
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
- Experience generating material requisitions in the US Navy Supply system as a contractor, government employee or while serving in the US Navy.
- Experience using Relational Supply (R-Supply) and Organization maintenance management system (OMMS-NG).
- Experience maintaining material inventory and issuing material.
- Must have experience managing and analyzing vendor quotes.
- Creating, maintain, verifying and filling required requisition forms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance.
- Must be able to obtain a CAC badge and base / ship access and maintain them.
- One or more assignments onboard a US Navy Aircraft Carrier.
- A current or active DoD security clearance.
- Experience researching, ordering and shipping material.
- Experience using the following logistics tools such as: Haystack, OneTouch, and/or Fedlog.
- Experience reconciling invoices.
- Generating status reports on logistics activities and issues.
