A leading, fast-growing investment firm is seeking a Strategy Director to partner directly with its Chief Financial Officer across a wide range of strategic, operational, and transformational initiatives. This high-visibility role functions as an extension of the CFO office and offers broad exposure to firmwide decision-making, cross-functional projects, and senior leadership conversations.
The Strategy Director will support and lead initiatives spanning finance transformation, systems and technology implementations, process optimization, strategic research, accounting and finance projects, and other high-priority efforts traditionally handled by the CFO. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in project-based work, has seen how multiple funds operate, and brings a strong understanding of back-office functions and investment management infrastructure.

Job Description:
- Partner directly with the CFO to execute high-impact, cross-functional projects across finance, accounting, operations, and strategy.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, including process redesign, workflow improvements, and organizational efficiency.
- Lead or support system evaluations and implementations across finance and operations platforms.
- Conduct research, analysis, and business case development to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop scalable processes, reporting frameworks, and controls to support a growing investment management platform.
- Participate in senior leadership meetings on behalf of the CFO; act as a strategic thought partner and trusted advisor.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication without reliance on direct reports.
- Serve as a bridge between Finance, Operations, Technology, and Investments to ensure alignment and execution.
In Office Policy: 3x a Week
Total Compensation Range (Base Bonus): $350,000 - $450,000
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 7 Years of Fund Accounting or Fund Finance Experience.
- Must have Asset/Investment Management Experience.
Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
