Job Description

The Mission Resort has an opportunity for a full-time dishwasher at two of our restaurants: La Margarita and Nicker's. No one likes to eat on dirty dishes, so as the dishwasher, you will play a vital role in the running of the restaurant and banquet kitchen by ensuring that clean dishes are available and that the kitchen floor is swept and mopped. If you understand the importance of a clean kitchen, have a strong work history with regular and timely attendance, and can work a flexible schedule including days, weekends, and holidays, this could be the position for you.

As the Lead Dishwasher, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the dishwashing area. You will also take on leadership responsibilities, helping to train and guide dishwashing team members, coordinate cleaning schedules, and ensure all sanitation standards are met.

We’re looking for someone who not only understands the importance of a spotless kitchen but can also take charge, stay organized under pressure, and maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily dishwashing operations across assigned restaurant outlets.
• Train, support, and supervise dishwashing staff.
• Ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to company standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, work areas, and storage spaces.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules and inventory of dishwashing supplies.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth service.
• Safely transport dishware and supplies as needed between resort venues.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required).
• Previous experience in dishwashing, kitchen support, or a related position.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, weekends, and holidays.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and teamwork.
