The Role
- Draft appellants’ and respondents’ briefs
- Compile records or appendices on appeal when representing the appellant
- Appear for oral argument
- Assist with summary judgment and post-trial motions
- Provide litigation strategy and support during trials
What You Bring
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- New York Bar admission at the time of interview and good standing
- Minimum 4 years of direct appellate experience
- Strong appellate brief-writing and oral advocacy skills
- Experience compiling records or appendices on appeal
- Ability to meet a 1,650 annual billable-hour requirement
